  23. such-and-such package wasn't on this site or it was in a
  24. different directory. (I appreciate this info, keep it coming.)
  25. I spent some time while I actually had some free time and logged
  26. into each site and checked what was on each site and the correct
  27. directory. I also checked each machine IP address. This list
  28. should be correct but, as always, if you find a problem, let me

  38.                  Public Domain Software for the SGI Platform

  41.     The following list was compiled by Bill Henderson of Silicon Graphics.
  42.     The list consists of known archives that contain Public Domain software 
  43.     for SGI machines that is available via ftp.  We are reasonably 
  44.     satisfied the software listed below is "make-able" and "run-able" "as is" 
  45.     on SGI machines with very little or no tweaking necessary.  The ftp sites
  46.     include both source and executables of GL and X-based software, as well 
  47.     as some non-graphical software.  Have fun, and if you have any feedback 
  48.     (good or bad) on the list or the software you find in the list we would 
  49.     like to hear about it.  Please send your comments to either Bill
